This project explores gender disparities in the film industry, focusing on the underrepresentation of women in key creative roles, including directing, producing, writing, and cinematography. Using data from industry reports, including the Celluloid Ceiling Report, the project highlights that men continue to dominate behind-the-scenes positions despite gradual progress. Through data visualization and analysis, the story examines what these gaps reveal about opportunity, representation, and change in Hollywood.
